Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing. What are we looking for? The Environmental Project Manager willsupport the Environmental business by conducting and managing Phase I ESA, Phase II ESAs, IQA, NEPA, and other (potential for Wetlands projects) environmental projects in the Northeast Ohio area. Shift/Schedule: Typically,Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. What you'll do:

  • Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs); potential for involvement with Wetlands, Brownfield, and IAQ work
  • Assist in site assessments and remediation and field work
  • Ability to prepare technical proposal and reports
  • Ability to communicate with clients and regulators to keep projects moving and on schedule
  • Ability to self-manage and make decisions during all phases of a project
  • Ability to manage and control project budgets and build solid relationship with clients

  • BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field
  • 2+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experience
  • Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities
  • Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skills
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one's discipline
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound
  • Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
  • Ability to climb occasionally
