Robert Half International Lockbox Administrator in CLEVELAND, Ohio

Description

The Lockbox Administrator is responsible for assisting the Credit Manager with overall preservation and enhancement of department tasks related to banking, cash receipts, reporting and month end close. The Lockbox Administrator must understand lockbox deposits, daily balancing, Microsoft Office and have intermediate knowledge of Excel. The Lockbox Administrator should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multitask and be a strong communicator, both written and verbally. Responsibilities: • Prepare, balance, and distribute daily lockbox deposits to AR team for cash application. • Manage multiple bank accounts for various Business Units. • Manage multiple Outlook inboxes, sorting, storing and prepping remittance data. • Assist with preparation of large-scale remittances for cash application. • Prepares and maintains various daily and monthly reports. • Responsible for credit card processing and payment application as needed. • Correspond with customers and respond to inquiries as needed. • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required by the Credit Manager. Skills & Attributes: • Proficient organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task; attention to detail; productive without compromising quality in a fast-paced environment. • Self-motivated and results-oriented forward thinker that takes initiative and accepts accountability. • Strong ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. • Working effectively in demanding work environment with changing priorities. • Ability to function with minimal supervision. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with Oracle Applications. • Proficient in Microsoft software applications: Excel (intermediate), Word, Outlook & Sharepoint. • Understanding of customer financial statement analysis. Education/Experience: • BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Minimum of five (5) years of credit and accounts receivable experience may be substituted for previously stated education. • Experienced in dealing with lockbox preparation, customer portals and with customers, including distributors, OE’s and retailers / mass merchants
