Euclid Chemical Company Maintenance Manager in Cleveland, Ohio

The Euclid Chemical Company is looking for a Maintenance Manager to plan, coordinate, control and /or directs activities involving matters of facility and process equipment maintenance for the Euclid Chemicial Cleveland, OH Campus. This position retains budgetary responsibility for facility -wide maintenanace and process equipment maintenance. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager have the direct responsibility for maintaining and upgrading the Sites facilities and production equipment, and identifying the annual capital requirements. In addition, this position is responsible for implementation of a viable and visual Preventative Maintenance Program as well as an active participant with the EHS, ISO and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. The successful candidate should be computer literate, a self-starter, and able to work in a team environment. Why join our team? Responsible for maintenance contractors performing services for facilities and equipment. Procure supplies, parts, and equipment. Responsible for providing regulatory training to Maintenance department personnel. Develop Maintenance department skill sets. Maintain applicable local and state permits. Manage and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements for the solvent based production process. Maintain OSHA Electrical Safety Compliance. Maintain OSHA Safety Compliance. Perform facility audits, inspections and identify the need for preventive and corrective measures. Ensure reliability and predictability of productions processes and equipment. Establish and/or manage key vendor relationships. Institute change via Management of Change (MOC) Process. Maintain ISO equipment calibration. ISO Internal Audits. Leadership participation n Euclid Chemical Cross Functional Teams, i.e. MS168 Meetings, Safety Training, Lean Projects, etc. Maintain Update facility and equipment drawings, blueprints, and files. Manage select capital projects onsite. Responsible for Site Security. Responsible for Housekeeping within the Maintenance areas. Manage preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance. Develop and track maintenance performance metrics and identify areas of improvement. Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements: Experience in leading direct reports, troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, working in the maintenance field. Excellent communication skills required with the ability to communicate effectively in all business environments. SAP skills a plus. Autocad skills a plus. Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Strong project management skills. Ability to work with, take direction, and provide direction to others. Ability to resolve conflict Ability to prioritize tasks. Education/Experience: Bachelors's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience/training. Tehcnical knowledge in the area of manufacturing and chemical processes.
