Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking an Assistant, Sales to join their team. As an Assistant, Sales, you will be part of the Sales Department supporting the Sales and Carrier Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a self-motivated work style, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assistant, Sales

Location: Clive

Pay Range: $19-$20 per hour

What’s the Job?

  1. Support Sales with managing the branch’s key accounts.

  2. Enter loads and confirm notes about the status of shipments.

  3. Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers.

  4. Track the status of shipments from inception to delivery, and communicate with the customer on the status of the shipments.

  5. Handle any issues that arise on shipments and share information and updates with the customer.

What’s Needed?

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  2. Self-motivated work style with the capacity to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment.

  3. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  4. 1 year of sales or customer service experience (preferred).
