Job Summary: Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a well experienced caregiver to join our team in College Park, Georgia. This part-time, hourly position will require the caregiver to work Sundays from 9 AM to 5 PM. The individual in this role will primarily provide healthcare and medical assistance to seniors in the community, ensuring their well-being and promoting independence. Compensation & Benefits: The caregiver will receive a competitive hourly rate of $13 to $15, paid weekly. Responsibilities: • Provide direct health and medical support to seniors in their homes or in assisted living facilities. • Medication reminders and assist with managing daily prescriptions. • Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing. • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary instructions. • Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry and dishes. • Accompany seniors to appointments or on errands. • Communicate regularly with seniors and their families to ensure their needs are being met. • Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors. Requirements: • Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver in a healthcare or medical setting. • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred. • Knowledge of basic health and medical procedures. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to lift and assist with mobility as needed. • A compassionate and caring attitude. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
