TEKsystems Asset And Technology Inventory Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description:

Responsible for Digital, Strategy, and Technology asset management system, process and inventory control and assignment; contributes to controlling costs, enhances operational efficiency, ensures regulatory compliance, and mitigates security and financial risks by tracking and managing IT assets (hardware and software) throughout their life cycle. Responsible for ensuring that assets are accurately and thoroughly defined, recorded, and maintained. Establishes and maintains processes through coordination of issues-focused teams and workgroups.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Responsible for developing and managing the technology asset and inventory processes from acquisition through disposal, to include controls, data gathering, interpretation, analysis, and reporting. Ensures regulatory compliance and mitigates security and financial risk.

  • Responsible for ensuring assets are accurately and thoroughly defined, recorded, and maintained.

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, analyzing, and refining asset management policies, processes, and procedures. Contributes to asset management process improvements and automation.

  • Analyzes, reviews, and interprets the client's software license agreements and identifies rules, obligations, and product metrics to ensure compliance with all software licenses agreements and software usage; evaluates pricing and licensing proposals. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure timely renewals.

  • Verifies and tracks software and hardware deployment data by combination of discussions with the line of business staff and leveraging of software and hardware discovery tools, identifying under-deployments for potential cost savings and over-deployments that require the acquisition of additional rights. Completes audits and updates inventory data.

  • Monitors software and hardware maintenance renewal requirements, coordinating with asset owners on operational requirements. Establishes and maintains tracking system; completes regular audits and reports.

  • Gathers inventory and/or asset management requirements and develop reports.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert; provides technical expertise and support for projects and audits.
