This position contributes to the mission of the company at multiple buildings in the Colorado Springs metro area. We provide the custodial support necessary for buildings used by students, staff, and government entities.

Position summary: The candidate must have the flexibility to switch and work at various building locations.

Possess substantial knowledge and understanding of the general aspects of the custodial tasks and cleaning processes.

Solve routine problems by following established custodial practices and procedures.

Under minimal supervision, apply proper safety techniques and storage methods of equipment and cleaning products in the completion of daily custodial activities.

Demonstrate familiarity with security awareness requirements for assigned area.

Maintain awareness of supply levels, communicate needs to assigned Lead Custodian, and assist in delivery of supplies to required areas.

Provide occasional guidance on established cleaning techniques to less experienced custodians.

Meet the physical requirements of the job, to include constant standing and walking; frequent bending at the waist, twisting, pushing/pulling, and occasional kneeling; and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.

Work is reviewed for overall adequacy by the Lead Custodian.

Must be familiar with the dilution of cleaning chemicals and operating mechanical floor cleaning equipment
