This role supports the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, overseeing infrastructure and daily operations of client/server/storage/network devices, including mobile devices. It involves providing Tier 1 Help Desk and Tier 2 escalation support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, while communicating updates to management and customers. Responsibilities include configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing software, and enhancing network components to improve performance and reliability. The position also supports hardware issue resolution, ensuring effective system enhancements and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must possess experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems, and be proficient in managing system configurations and daily operations

• Required to provide Tier 1 Help Desk and Tier 2 escalation support, demonstrating skills in problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution across diverse IT components, including client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices

• Must have the ability to conduct system optimization, resource utilization, and capacity planning, along with in-depth troubleshooting to ensure system performance and reliability

• Minimum Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

• Three (3) years experience in implementing OS level clustering

• Five (5) years experience in the design, plan, installation, configuration, and sustainment of a Red Hat Linux (RHEL) environment

• Five (5) years experience in the creation of automation scripts for configuration, backup, and restoration using well know scripting languages (for example bash/Perl), and performing Puppet system administration

• Five (5) years experience in researching, acquiring, and applying IAVA patches, using Unix/Linux command line, installing software from YUM repositories, RPM Files, tar-balls, or source code

• Five (5) years experience with VMWare architecture, Installation and configuration. Experience with facilitating failover with VMotion, VMWare template library, and VMWare monitoring capability.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Fifteen (15) years of SA experience

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
