Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Global Treasurer in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is integral to the company's team, focusing on the analysis and implementation of optimal capital structure alternatives, the evaluation of borrowing capacity, and the compliance to existing debt covenants. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing financial structures, executing financing transactions, and ensuring Treasury strategies are aligned to support business growth while minimizing risk.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and recommend optimal capital structure alternatives and roadmap to implementation

• Evaluate the company’s borrowing capacity and optimal use of debt to finance future growth

• Ensure compliance to existing debt covenants and leverage analysis tools to forecast potential challenges

• Support and manage financial structure by negotiating and executing financing transactions as needed

• Execute foreign currency hedging support and investment management, optimizing return on cash and cash equivalents

• Guarantee global banking needs are sufficient to support the business

• Develop a strategy and corresponding policies and procedures for the company’s global banking structure

• Compile information from around the company to create a routine cash forecasting process

• Create a strategy and policy for investing cash as appropriate, while ensuring operational flexibility and preservation of capital

• Anticipate cash needs and make recommendations for raising funds through the acquisition of debt, sale of stock, or changes in company policies that impact the amount of working capital required to run the business.

  Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in a treasury role or similar financial position

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Comprehensive understanding and experience in handling Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes and ensuring timely payments

• Ability to oversee and manage Cash Activity, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Experience in managing Corporate Treasury activities including financial planning, cash management, and investment strategies

• Knowledge of Global Treasury operations, understanding of international financial markets and currency exchange rates is a must

• Must hold a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
