Your Opportunity + Impact The Associate Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager, Sr. Project Manager, and/or Program Manager with management of projects including design, communications, personnel management, budgets, schedules, quality control, business development, and client communication & relationships. This position is required to be familiar with all aspects of the projects they are supervising. The Associate Project Manager will help prepare and implement annual business goals. Key Responsibilities Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation & modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Assist with overall management of projects to include preparing technical & price proposals, amendments, statements of interests, schedules, QA/QC, and overseeing sub-consultants. Reviews and interprets local, state, and federal regulations to determine project constraints. Develops network of professional contacts through involvement in thought leadership, civic, and technical organizations. Knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable to design of projects. Recognizes opportunities for new projects and assists Infrastructure with developing leads and business development activities. Responsible for coordinating submittals, RFI's, and other project components. Directs, mentors, and guides team members and staff; provides performance evaluations and reviews as directed. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Promotes, utilizes, and supports quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce errors & omissions. Assists in workload forecasting reports. Education and Experience Associate's or bachelor's degree in GIS related field (Geography, Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science) or related field of study preferred. Minimum of eight (8) years' experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: GIS Certificate preferred. Preferred Qualifications Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team, possess strong leadership & interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills. Must be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner. Must be proficient in public speaking, creating presentations, and delegation. Hands-on experience with the following is preferred: Portal/ Server/ ArcGIS online (Web GIS) Database management in an enterprise environment Conceptualize project from start to finish ArcGIS Desktop Application development (Experience Builder, Story Maps, custom apps) Mobile application (
