What does a successful IAM, V ice President do at Fiserv?
The Vice President of Identity and Access Management (VP of IAM) has responsibility for the execution of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services across the global organization to provide the correct individuals with access to the right resources with the right data at the right time.
What you will do:
Drive collaboration between information security, risk, audit, human resources, business, and technology staff to grant proper access to entitlements, ensuring the security of the organization's sensitive information.
Work across departments to develop strategies regarding identity and access management and then execute on these policies.
Ensure that the identity and access management direction meets the established organizational standards and continuously monitors the current access management processes, creating accurate documentation, analyzing user access needs, and implementing new access systems when necessary.
Implement a formal program to enhance and centralize the Identity and Access Management functions and define the framework to support the end-to-end identity lifecycle management for Fiserv’s broad application suite across multiple platforms
Ensure access privileges are granted according to policy, and all users are properly authenticated and authorized
Oversee the execution, delivery, and support of services and develop, enacting, and enforcing identity and access runbooks and procedures
Design KPI metrics and reporting to monitor compliance and effectiveness of the program
Ensure that the identity and access management direction meet the established organizational standards and continuously monitors the current access management processes, creating accurate documentation, analyzing user access needs, and implementing new access systems when necessary
Develop and articulate identity and access risk management strategies that continuously monitor and improve the security of client-facing and internally facing applications
Will manage the end-to-end identity lifecycle of Fiserv’s employees, contractors, and service accounts across multiple platforms in a complex environment
Govern and continually improve processes/procedures that focus on risk-based access controls; provide the least allowable access required for business operations, including role-based access modeling
Collaborate with business and technology teams to create and maintain IAM risk management policies and standards reflecting the company's risk appetite and industry best practices to assure robust controls
Exercise diligent priority evaluation and careful budgetary management, including budget preparation and the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues while providing reasoned alternatives to solve problems
Ensure cybersecurity, internal controls, risk management, and disaster recovery processes are properly defined, deployed, and tested
Provide direction and guidance to the development, specifications and communications of the IAM application and architecture as well as provide in-depth technical consultation to the business units and IT Management and assist in developing plans and direction for the integration of information security requirements
Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services to provide a strong IAM program that balances access with compliance and confidentiality
This role reports to the SVP of Identity & Data Protection
What you will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in areas such as Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, etc. preferred
10+ years of experience in Information Security for Financial Institutions (or similar highly-regulated industries), with specific experience in leading Identity and Access Management teams
10+ years of experience leading organizations through change and transformation, motivating teams to deliver and create a world-class workplace experience
Demonstrated success in senior IT leadership and business judgment in the management of Identity and Access Management Services within a large, complex, and highly federated organization
Experience working with third-party suppliers including overseeing financials/budgets, contracts, and SLAs
Holistic view of IAM (Authentication and Authorization Data, Endpoint Security, Network Security, Policy Engine)
Solid understanding of security principles and data protection practices
Experience with, and understanding of, modern authentication methods
Expertise in Identity and Authentication solutions
Experience and advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and risk and compliance requirements
Familiarity with IT security and risk management practices
Demonstrates general understanding of cloud computing and services, traditional hardware/software platforms, including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies
Familiarity with deployments and integration of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.)
