Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Delivery Driver at Bi-State Building Products in Concord, NC. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely and promptly delivering materials/products to customers, loading and unloading trucks, and effectively communicating with customers regarding delivery issues and needs. Also other duties will include helping out in the office and warehouse when not on deliveries. Pulling and staging orders, cleaning and organizing the trucks for next days delivery. This job does not require overnight stays. Monday through Friday no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery truck or van safely and efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible schedule to accommodate delivery needs
• Experience in the building materials industry is a plus but not required.
• Must pass DOT physical
