Job Description Summary The Quality Assurance Technician performs a variety of tasks at any one the five stations to assure that potatoes and potato products meet Company quality standards. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Job Description * The Q.A. Tech II performs a variety of tasks at any one of the five stations to assure that potatoes and potato products meet company quality standards. * Perform attribute tests on both raw and finished products. * Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees. * Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures. * Maintain a clean and orderly work environment as directed by plant policies and procedures. * Must have the ability to work overtime as required. * Must actively practice and abide by all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and general hygiene regulations as outlined in the employee handbook. * Helps to train Quality Assurance trainees. * Responsible for notifying the supervisors as detailed in the procedure manual. Basic & Preferred Qualifications * No experience required- we will train! Make timely decisions and include the right people. * Strategic Thinking - Identify products being run online, look up specifications and procedures for product, and plan for any potential changes in shift which may impact product quality.
