Description

The Azure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud migrations, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and PowerShell scripting. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services and best practices to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure-based solutions to meet the business and technical requirements.

• Lead and execute cloud migration projects, including assessments, planning, and execution.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager.

• Implement and manage Azure PaaS services, including Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.

• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources using PowerShell and other scripting languages.

• Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of Azure environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of cloud-based applications.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and clients on Azure best practices.

• Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our cloud offerings.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud migrations, IaC, PaaS, and automation.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

• Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services, such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.

• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and management of Azure resources.

• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
