OVERVIEW:

This job is responsible for defining and executing the non-merchandise sourcing and procurement strategy for the Facilities, Construction, and related categories at DICK'S Sporting Goods.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement the category management strategy supported by optimal sourcing and procurement strategies

  • Actively manage and enhance key supplier relationships

  • Actively engage in sourcing projects and oversee project execution from a team of analysts

  • Mitigate overall business risk

  • Drive process standardization and financial transparency

  • This job must actively work with internal stakeholders, be viewed as a trusted advisor and be effective presenting to and interacting with executive management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Economic, Finance, or related Business Field. MBA (Preferred), CPM/CPSM (Preferred).

  • 7-10 years of experience in Non-Merchandise/indirect sourcing expertise with a focus on facilities and construction, demonstrated experience using sourcing and procurement tools and technology, retail experience is a plus

  • Strong communication and presentation skills and a comfort around executive management - Expertise in spend data analytics

  • Strong sourcing and procurement knowledge with pragmatism to manage expectations

  • Strong negotiation and project management skills

  • Knowledge of legal contract terminology and conditions
