About us (Company Overview)
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) Center at Cork was established in July 2010 to provide financial shared services such as Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay, and General Accounting and Global Travel and Meeting services. Since then, the scope of GBS Cork has expanded outside of Finance and into other Business Service functions, Customer Meeting Services, Global HR Data Management and Medical Information. The current headcount is circa 400 multi-lingual employees and the culture is vibrant and diverse. The GBS was awarded CCMA International Shared Service Centre of the Year in 2013 and 2014, with particular credit to Employee Engagement.

Key Deliverables for P2P Internship
The primary role of the P2P Internship is to gain an understanding of the Lilly processes ensuring to always adhere to our controls policies and procedures
Support global/regional P2P Supplier enablement projects with influence on accurate and efficient processing
Participate and help drive a Clean Supplier Record
Create Purchase Orders to assist with the onboarding of Standard Suppliers to ARIBA
Assist in the coordination of Supplier Summits
Provide validated supplier contact information
Assist with the outreach for selected suppliers
Coordinate escalations with Procurement for selected suppliers
Help suppliers through the supplier support mailbox
Track supplier status throughout the enablement process
Assist in the Preparation data files for Go live
Personal Attributes (Additional skills)
Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills, with attention to detail
Ability to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables
Ability to both actively listen and effectively communicate
Experience with SAP P2P Module desirable
Experience in Business Warehouse or Business Objects, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Focus on measuring & improving our internal customer’s experience with the GBS
Demonstrate a strong Continuous Improvement oriented approach & help to build a strong Continuous Improvement culture
Actively work with the core team members & Global P2P team to drive improvements for processes
