Replenishment Specialists support the Merchandise Planners and Merchants in planning and forecasting sales and inventory needs at the SKU and store level to exceed company financial goals. You will build upon your understanding of key performance indicators relevant to the business.

What you’ll do? IT’S Exciting!

• Financial

• Achieve Sales, Margin, Inventory Turnover and other KPIs as designated to plan

• Adhere to all Open-To-Buy guidelines as directed by Planners

• Merchandising

• Collaborate with merchants on appropriate depth and breadth of product assortments

• Work with merchants to improve and optimize inventory productivity

• Serve as a key analyst to the Planners and Buyers

• Inventory Management

• Own end-to-end management of inventory including detailed review of stockouts

• Replenish inventory by location based on preset criteria and sales plan

• Identify product inventory opportunities and risks and suggest actionable strategies

• Partner with Compliance for any inventory-related receiving challenges

• Purchasing

• Responsible for creation and submission of purchase orders to vendor partners

• Serve as primary point of contact our outside vendors

• Actively follow-up on all open purchase orders and tracking to ensure timely delivery to stores

• Create and communicate demand forecasts to vendors as needed

• Sales Focus

• Participate in regular weekly Team meetings to discuss the overall business trends and opportunities

• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate merchandise presentation and inventory levels

• Propose strategic inventory recommendations based on trend and historical data

• Team Development

• Assist in identification and improvement of established processes and procedures

• Participate in ongoing team skill development and educational opportunities

• Miscellaneous

• Develop an understanding of a wide variety of store size/types/volumes/capacities

• Responsible for creating and distributing a variety of weekly reporting as assigned

• Assist with a variety of other special projects as needed by the Team

  What you need to join the fun! (besides SUGAR)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field;

• Previous Planning or Replenishment experience required in the Retail industry

• Strong to Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge/experience (especially with MS Excel);

• Must embody all IT’SUGAR Core Values

• Ability to be flexible and adapt in a rapidly expanding and changing retail environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail;

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral to all levels of the organization
