Summary You will serve as a REAL PROPERTY ACCOUNTABLE OFFICER in the ASSET MANAGEMENT BRANCH, PUBLIC WORKS DEPRATMENT CORPUS CRISTI of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE. Responsibilities You will maintain and update Real Property (e.g., land, building, structure) records to reflect additions, deletions, and changes. You will use a real property inventory database to perform property record creation and maintenance. You will prepare a final report of findings and recommendations to ensure compliance to property management regulations. You will study information, statistics, or other data to develop plans in order to meet program goals. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing real property that is federally owned or leased. 2) Granting easements, issuing leases, licenses, and/or permits for public/private use. 3) Conducting inventories, utilization surveys, and/or compliance inspections. 4)Classifying space or property to determine use. 5)Analyzing long and short-range property needs 6) Identifying and analyzing problems, seeking and evaluating alternative perspectives/solutions and making timely/effective recommendations. 7) Conveying written information in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience, using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; And 7) Using job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This position requires rotating shift work.
