Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician performs inspections and preventative, emergency and other maintenance/mechanical repair of Production equipment to ensure safe operational status. Includes routine servicing, in addition to major functional repair/maintenance, and includes building/facility maintenance.

Must be able to work unattended following both written and verbal instructions, able to do mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, able to perform basic welding, have working knowledge of Production Equipment terminology (able to do start-ups as required), possesses fabrication skills and able to maintain the required reports.

Experience requied:

High school diploma or GED required, trade certification preferred.

Three years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in electrical, plumbing,conveyors, MIG/TIG, LOTO, electrical gear boxes and pneumatic systems required.

Knowledge of basic math skills.

Ability to comprehend technical manuals, instructions and warning signs.

Knowledge and ability to safely and proficiently use a variety of hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.

Ability to operate welding/brazing equipment, lathes, milling machines and other shop equipment.

Skilled in Electrical / PLC / Mechanical / 480V / 3 Phase.

Good communication skills.
