Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP, Fleet Farm Growth role will be a critical member of the Fleet Farm portfolio team and will lead and manage campaign execution as well as be essential in defining new opportunities to drive profitable growth for the Fleet Rewards® credit card program.

The position partners with the Fleet Farm Marketing Leader, performance marketing, sales and the Fleet Farm client organization to develop and execute acquisition and loyalty/lifecycle campaigns across all channels including client websites, direct mail, email, instore signage, statement marketing and advertising - all within regulatory compliance guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and client team to lead, develop, implement, and monitor dynamic annual growth plans.

  • Establish and develop key relationships at all levels of partner organization.

  • Understand and incorporate the client's key business objectives, strategic vision, and marketing calendar into the planning process to achieve set objectives.

  • Monitor performance of all key credit and marketing metrics vs. plan. Assist in the development of the Synchrony Financial planning cycle.

  • Optimize contractual marketing spend and pursue additional funds to meet growth goals.

  • Manage marketing programs from start to finish through Work Front process and approval.

  • Help to drive digital strategy. Partner with client to consult on digital best practices to integrate financing into their website strategies and all other digital marketing channels.

  • Develop business case presentations and action plans to drive marketing strategy, including targeting recommendations, test design, cross-channel optimization, product opportunities and cost/benefit analysis.

  • Create, build, and maintain a collaborative partnership with sales, risk, finance, digital, and operations teams to drive overall results.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 9 years of marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries

  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the retail industry, credit card or financial services, to include (can be concurrent):

  • 3 years of growth marketing leadership with exposure to consumer-facing programs and products

  • 3 years of experience with digital channels

  • 3 years of experience in co-brand or general-purpose credit card product management or retail industry marketing

  • Must work Central Time Zone

  • Tavel (10%)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Prior experience in the retail industry

  • Collaborative style and approach with comfort working in a matrixed, decentralized structure.

  • Ability to influence across all levels of internal and client organizations

  • Outstanding communications, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously

  • Consumer finance experience and related industry experience. Familiarity with value proposition and/or new product development processes, from concept innovation through go-to-market execution.

  • Strong analytical skills (segmentation, targeting, ROI prioritization)

Grade/Level: 11

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
