Strategy Manager, Market Insights

Strategy Manager, NA Initiatives 

Experian’s North America Strategy Team partners with the region’s executive leadership team to establish our strategy and support initiatives across the region. As part of this team, you will develop critical market intelligence input to guide the region’s strategic decision making. 

As a Strategy Manager on the North America Strategy Team, you will help drive our business forward, applying your analytical abilities to help the business define, assess, and execute on the most important strategic initiatives that underpin our long-term growth plan. You will partner with colleagues and stakeholders across the regional team and business units to drive consensus views to inform our strategy. You will advise senior leaders, and provide insight and expertise to help inform our strategy and execution planning. We’re building something truly great…and the best is yet to come.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform in-depth analyses using multiple quantitative and qualitative methods to generate business insights

  • Identify, gather, and assess key internal and external data to drive those analyses

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Experian – business, product, sales, technology, finance, etc. – to get work done

  • Review emerging trends in markets, case studies and relevant topics

  • Develop market intelligence based on primary market research for use by Executives and other senior leaders

  • Develop recommendations to support growth and business improvement based on quantitative and qualitative market intelligence

  • Contribute market intelligence insight to annual strategic planning process and execution/implementation plans

  • Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making within senior-level audiences

What your background looks

  • 4+ years' of functional experience in strategy consulting, or relevant experience in comparable role (e.g., corporate strategy organization or technology-focused investment bank)

  • Proven experience in strategy formulation, complex organizational wide problem solving, due diligence, and financial/forecast modeling

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and savvy business judgment

  • Modeling and presentation skills

  • Must be able to influence without authority through a partnering approach – the ability to be personable yet persistent

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly contribute to key decisions and recommendations

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to lead work-streams in larger initiatives

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and ability to create high impact presentations

  • Travel will be required (mostly domestic, 10% or less)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or other relevant area 

  • MBA preferred
