VF Corporation Vans: eCommerce Digital Content Coordinator (Americas) in Costa Mesa, California

As the eCommerce Digital Content Coordinator you will execute the content strategy for the North America websites (US and Canada) and mobile app. You are responsible for ensuring content updates are communicated, launched, tested and measured. You will support the eCommerce content team to manage the content library within the content management system and its surrounding processes.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Coordinates and executes weekly, monthly, quarterly and all seasonal content site updates in accordance with our master content calendar.

  • Types of content may include editorial copy, photography and video assets.

  • Reviews content with a mobile first approach.

  • Pre-launch: quality checks and tests all new content and added functionality to the site prior to releases.

  • Post-launch: responsible for reviewing and checking site updates (link accuracy, layout and visual components) across devices and browsers.

  • Supports managing the content catalog and owns folder organization and maintenance within the CMS.

  • Learns all of the assets in the DAM and looks for opportunities to apply assets.

  • Coordinates timelines, scheduling and asset requests.

  • Works cross functionally with marketing, site merchandising and creative teams to ensure site assets are correctly received, sized and properly uploaded and tracking for launches.

  • Execute ongoing optimization tactics to increase the visibility of content (i.e., internal linking, SEO meta tagging, content updates).

  • Tests site regularly to ensure content and links are up-to-date and the site is working properly.

  • Monitor and analyze content activities to share top stories and develop next level recommendations for content, campaigns, and experiences.

  • Monitoring competitor analysis and sharing insights and recommendations that could provide improved content performance.

  • Keep a pulse on social media feedback and questions to help inform future content ideas

  • Assist pulling relevant content data to report on KPI’s.

  • Actively participates in team strategy sessions and brainstorming for content campaigns and monthly content calendar.

  • Manages and updates page template documents as needed.

  • Identifies opportunities to improve a content page and its componentry as well as process improvements around managing the CMS.

  • Executes site and mobile app content updates.

  • Documents all relevant processes of content updates.

  • Follows up on necessary communication around updates.

  • Identifies and suggests process improvement opportunities to support knowledge share with cross functional teams.

What success looks like:

  • A site where content is updated consistently and correctly and the CMS tool is an organized and optimized environment where the content team can work efficiently.

  • Being the go-to for site content needs and organized details.

  • Rolling out smooth and aligned content moments for digital launches.

  • Building strong partnerships with Catalog, Digitial Merchandising, Marketing and Digital Platform Operations.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 2+ years

Educational Position Requirements:

A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience within a platform CMS tool, ideally within Salesforce

  • Experience with another platform Shopify, SAP Hybris a plus

  • Experience working within a DAM

  • Exposure to a project management tool such as Confluence JIRA

  • Experience laying out content and planning in Miro and Figma

  • Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint

  • Knowledge of computer scripts languages like HTML or CSS a plus

  • Photoshop experience a plus

  • Awareness of eCommerce tools and tech stack

  • Highly effective communicator and collaborative in approach

  • Can manage workload independently and prioritize tasks

  • Process driven and detail oriented

  • Organized and methodical in approach with a proactive and curious mindset

  • Ability to thrive within a lean and fast-moving team

Hiring Range :

$51,840.00 USD - $64,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
