Aerotek Flux-Core Welder- Full Benefits in Cottage Grove, Minnesota

1st shift - MIG/Flux-Core Welder- Will pay up to $28/hr.

Job Description

  • We are seeking skilled Flux-core Welders to fabricate heavy-duty equipment from the ground up.

  • This role involves welding mild steel ranging from 1/4" to 3" thick to manufacture excavators used in construction settings.

  • As a Flux-Core Welder, you will focus on welding and fabricating industrial buckets for backhoes, performing multiple passes on your welds.

  • This role is not typical production welding; it involves complete fabrication of custom buckets for large industrial applications.

Work Environment

The workspace boasts over 20 workstations, including a separate building for mechanical assembly and painting.

Equipped with overhead cranes for managing heavy materials, the environment emphasizes a strict safety culture.

This is not a typical production welding shop; each project is crafted from start to finish at designated stations, involving custom work on large-scale industrial applications such as railroad cars and structural beams.
