Junior Financial Reporting Accounting I

Position Summary:

The role covers a range of responsibilities which maintain accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP and FRS102) and internal controls (Sarbanes Oxley).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation of annual statutory accounts under FRS102 and UK corporation tax return information

  • Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual Corporate reporting process under US GAAP.

  • Partner for intercompany accounting to include review, reconciliation and agreement of intercompany invoicing in multiple currencies and with multiple jurisdictions and preparation of recharges to other group companies.

  • Participation in month end process and production of management accounts.

  • Ensure accurate and timely fixed asset reporting including assisting the business in capitalisation of large projects.

  • Analysis and reporting of key general ledger codes.

  • Assist in review and resolution of accounts payable and GRIR items

  • Business partner with ICO customer service team including handling related financial entries

  • Support internal and external audit requests, providing clear supporting explanations and documents

  • Participation in project work ad hoc and as required including process improvements

Experience

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Proven ability to set goals and meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Knowledge of ERP systems a plus
