The Architectural Glazing System (AGS) Field Sales Representative for the Southeast Region will act as the primary contact point and account owner for assigned Key Accounts within the AGS business unit. This role will identify opportunities to expand and retain Key Accounts. You drive customer coverage activities consistently and actively to increase likelihood for purchase through in-person meetings, email/phone follow-ups, answering questions as possible or direct to appropriate support staff and offer guidance. This role will engage with Estimation for support in quoting customers projects once specifications are determined. You will also facilitate a seamless hand-ff to Customer Service to execute product application. Will work with the AG business unit when opportunities for product cross-sell exist. This role will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with customers, sales team and internal partners. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Acts as primary contact point and account owner for assigned Key Accounts within AGS business unit with a focus on total sales revenue and booked margin growth Identifies opportunities to expand and retain Key Accounts and opportunities for product cross-sell Drives customer coverage activities consistently and actively to increase likelihood of renewals: in-person meetings, email/phone follow-ups, answer questions, direct to appropriate support staff, and offer guidance Engages Estimators for support in quoting customers project once qualified, and requirements are determined Facilitates seamless hand-off to Customer Service to execute order Engages qualified AG Field Sales Rep when opportunities for product cross-sell exist Re-engages customer during expansion and renewal Logs / tracks customer interactions and sales in CRM Key Competencies Make safety a priority in daily activities Conduct business with integrity Build Trusting Relationships Promote Brand Loyalty Drive Successful Customer Engagements Account Planning Sales Persuasion Technical Aptitude Driving for Results Professional Experience/Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in sales/marketing or equivalent work experience preferred Minimum 2 years of sales experience Experience in building materials, construction, or glazing system sales Experience working with large, complex organizations preferred Results oriented, ensuring we deliver on existing commitments while also working to continuously deliver an unparalleled customer experience Strong written and verbal communications skills to all levels of an organization Customer service, problem solving, and analytical skills required Strong attention to detail Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Self-starter attitude Results focused Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook) Other Will be managing multiple accounts 60-75% travel required; some air travel maybe required Who we are At OBE, together, we build excellence every day we are driven by our passion to lead our industry and build a sustainable future, we focus on exceeding customer expectations and delivering innovative solutions.
