Our client in Covington Ga, is seeking a maintenance tech to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good work attendance, good communication oral and written and ability to work with little to no supervision which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Maintenance

Location: Covington Ga.

Pay Range: 23.00

What’s the Job? General Maintenance

• Perform the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of the buildings.

• Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary

• Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, furniture and controllers.

• Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts. Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps

• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.

What’s Needed? High School Diploma

• HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Skills

• 3-5 Years of Warehouse Maintenance Experience

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Must have the ability to safely perform overhead work while standing on ladders up to 28 ft.
