Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a contract Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk for one of our esteemed clients. The AR Clerk will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to financial account management. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial management practices.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily invoices and credit, apply cash receipt, and help with the collection of past due balances.

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Maintain up-to-date billing systems, customer files, and record of invoices.

• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.

• Perform account reconciliations, handle bank deposits, and generate monthly financial and management reports.

• Investigate and resolve any irregularities or customer inquiries.

• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate billing.

• Assist in preparing forecasts, financial statements, and budgets.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. (Bachelors preferred).

• At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Knowledge of various accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
