Job Description:

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Shift Manager in our Coxsackie, NY Distribution Center. If you are a proven leader in warehouse management, inventory control, process management, work-shift coordination, and are organized with great communication skills, this is the position for you!


You will be responsible for the workload planning, production, and execution of a fast-paced operation with 135 hourly associates and the leadership and development of salaried leaders in a building of over 450K Sq ft.

Hours : 8:00PM - 4:30AM

In addition to the responsibilities above, you will:

  • Coordinate and ensure all safety and regulatory compliance in a proactive and positive manner

  • Directly oversee daily shift operations to include selection, shipping, receiving, cross docking and trailer loading operations

  • Establish weekly operations plans to ensure all customer volume is processed in a timely manner

  • Run DCs quality functions: supervise internal/external quality controls; track service commitment levels and effectiveness, develop new quality initiatives; implement standard methodologies.

  • Workload planning is balanced to reach budget and production goals

  • Lead all aspects of inventory control in our warehouse and overall quality program to meet daily levels of service and perfect order metrics


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 5+ years’ management experience in supply chain distribution

  • WMS and LMS experience required

  • Leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities

  • A proven understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations

  • Project management experience desired (LEAN, KAIZEN, Agile)

  • A willingness to learn and being able to go above and beyond is a must

Pay Range $4,583.00 - $8,250.00 Monthly; Bonus Eligible
