Design, develop and manage activities for a specific Business product/service or group of products/services from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life (lifecycle management), including complex products or product lines.

These are products and/or services that AT&T sells to small to large business and/or global business customers. This position analyzes data from multiple sources including datalakes, internal/external data, data warehouses, etc. Uses predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the appropriate data to be analyzed to explain or predict behavior, solve a variety of business problems, and build business cases.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new products or features by translating and documenting customer and technical requirements into final product design.

  • Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements.

  • Responsible for business case development, big data analytics modeling using tools (Ex: including but not limited to: Tableau, Palantir, Power BI, Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.), and business process integration. Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions.

  • Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size, and verifies the model in the real world.

  • Quantifies significance of data variances, applies an array of statistical methods ranging from traditional to newly-developing within the Big Data space.

  • Uses traditional modeling techniques to build models that support decision making.

  • Develops reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings.

  • Advises business partners with regard to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.

  • Serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as the product(s)move to production and distribution. Manage ongoing lifecycle product performance.

  • Defines and drives initiatives to grow revenue, margin, and work with the Global Connectivity Management, Technology Development, Contracting, Legal, Product Marketing and Business Pricing Team to develop pricing strategies. Work with 3rd party technology partners in support of new product development.

  • Negotiate with vendors to improve the product cost structure, feature functionality and product support.

Our Lead Product Management & Develop, earn between $143,800 - $215,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
