Job description:

Supporting Shared Network Infrastructure in Dallas and Reston DCs.

Implement, support, and maintain 24x7 network services serving as one of the Mid levels of escalation for network and security issues

Responsible for Tier 2 Data Center Network support for Capgemini Data Centers in Dallas Texas, Reston Virgina. Configure VRRP & GLBP and VLAN Trunking 802.1Q & ISL, STP, and Port Security on Catalyst 6500 switches.

Responsible for capacity planning and configuration assessments for our routers, switches, network appliances, host, and other communication devices.

Design and configuring of BGP, firewall policies on Juniper Switches (QFX5100, QFX10002), SRX Firewall (SRX5400) and Nexus 7700

Involved in Data Center migration from on-premises to cloud service providers like AWS and Azure

Analyzes, installs, tests, configures, and administers network(s), infrastructure, and applications as well as providing a full range of testing, administration, and quality checks

Involving in Transition and Transformation (TnT), sales support, and client Project and Consulting (PnC) activities and responsibilities

Configure policy-based and route-based firewall solutions on Juniper SRX5400, Cisco ASA 5500 Series & Fortinet 3000D Firewall series

Implementation of HSRP, IPsec, Static Route, IPSEC over GRE, Dynamic routing, DHCP, DNS, FTP, TFTP.
