PKI Expert

Remote

Contract on W2

Client needs to develop new PKI standards and build and then implement PKI guidelines to meet those standards.

Project Details

The client has 4 million automatic renewal certifications and has 2,000 certificates that are managed manually.

Some of these manually managed certificates are internal certificates and some are self-signed.

This is a concern as there exists some sort of prohibition against self-signing certificates.

Some certificates are using AES encryption 1024 and these need to get to AES 2048 or higher.

Some certs require other attributes for certification.

We seek to identify a PKI Expert to assess the environment and determine what needs to be done.

They seek analysis to determine:

The work needed to be done

What is the best approach

What are the compliance issues

How to identify the requirements for certification

How to reissue certs

Build automated PKI certificate renewal

How to update the CMDB

How to determine the impact on systems

Update the systems

We need to identify a senior individual with very large scale PKI implementation experience.

This individual will have previous experience leading such an initiative and who is also client-facing.

This person will do an assessment of the environment, determine what needs to be done, how it must be accomplished and the timeline for completion.

This person will be able to articulate the issues and solutions and determine the project timeline
