Resources Global Professionals (RGP) Senior Manager of Financial Reporting in Dallas, Texas

Company is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting to manage the consolidated US GAAP and management reporting for a wholly owned subsidiary business. In this role, you will serve as US GAAP technical expert and resource to subsidiary business unit finance leaders. Research and apply appropriate accounting treatment for minority investments. Review and analyze business unit financials and results. Responsible for the accounting operations of various holding company entities. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a $7B diversified Global Holding company.

FOCUS

  • Prepare consolidated full US GAAP financial statements for certain entities on an annual basis and select US GAAP based financial statements on a quarterly basis

  • Coordinate financial reporting and consolidation for subsidiary consolidated full US GAAP financial statements

  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly management reporting for subsidiary Board of Directors. Duties of the position also include thought leadership on content and format

  • Participate on the corporate US GAAP implementation task force for finance leaders across the organization to ensure the successful adoption of new US GAAP accounting pronouncements including presenting recommendations to senior finance leadership

  • Provide technical expertise and support to subsidiary CFO, Director of Finance, and business unit or subsidiary finance leaders on complex areas of accounting and US GAAP financial reporting

PROFILE

  • Minimum BA/BS in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant

  • Minimum six years of public accounting experience with or without industry

  • At least four years of recent public accounting experience with a top ten audit and assurance accounting firm practice

  • ASC 842 and 606 experience or strong working knowledge

  • Team player who possesses, demonstrates, and works with a positive attitude and excellent communication and interpersonal skills - dealing in a professional and ethical manner with coworkers and other entities
