Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Property Accountant in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be dealing with full cycle financial statement preparation and review, treasury management, and collaboration with various teams. This role is within the industry of commercial real estate.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review full cycle financial statements.

• Manage treasury functions including bank reconciliation and cashflow management.

• Collaborate with CPA firm for year-end tax returns and K1 distribution.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivables for a portfolio including cash management.

• Prepare weekly AP check run and process other payables as necessary.

• Conduct annual review of budgets and preparation of tax packages.

• Communicate with property owners regarding cash flow, financial activity, and asset valuations.

• Collaborate with leadership on development properties.

• Work closely with the Property Management team on tenant ledger and vendor payment issues.

• Conduct yearly CAM reconciliation.

• Handle construction draw requests.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in Accrual Accounting and Property Accounting

• Experience in Commercial Real Estate is necessary

• Proficiency in using Yardi accounting software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Time management and organizational skills are essential.
