Robert Half Settlements Clerk in Dallas, Texas

Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the service industry, based in Dallas, Texas. As an integral part of the finance team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of auction settlements, maintaining consignment files, and facilitating effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all auction settlement payments

• Foster continuous improvement and innovation in all auction settlement functions

• Prepare precise auction settlement documentation and payments

• Set up and manage consignment files accurately and efficiently

• Verify consignor statements against legal contracts and price realized documentation

• Ensure auction settlement payment deadlines are met consistently

• Communicate effectively with high-level executives, peers, and clients

• Maintain and update all consignor documentation diligently

• Handle multiple auctions and auction categories simultaneously

• Assist consignors with inquiries concerning auction proceed payments

Skills:

• Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and MS Great Plains Accounting

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Proactive approach with a positive attitude

• Experience in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Oracle. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounts Payable or similar role

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in check runs

• Proficiency in coding invoices

• Proven data entry skills

• Experience in invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle

• Knowledge of MS Great Plains Accounting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

• Familiarity with standard office equipment and accounting software.
