Description:
Organizes and conducts physical and occupational therapy programs within the Hospital. Administers physician prescribed physical therapy programs to restore and maximize function and prevent disability following disease or injury. The Senior Physical and Occupational Therapist oversees staff therapists, assistants, Aides, Volunteers and Students. Oversees all activities related to physical and occupational therapy

Shift:
1FTE, 40hrs/wk Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, rotating weekends. Per department needs.
Summary:
Performs evaluations and implements treatment in all levels of care (acute, TCU, acute rehab, outpatient). Delivers care in accordance with patient practice guidelines upon physician referral and under the supervision of the Senior Therapist. Adheres to all hospital and department policies including but not limited to: infection control, performance improvement, billing procedures and scheduling. Assists in the supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, students, aides and volunteers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Masters degree or Doctorate preferred
Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of PA
BCLS certification required
At least 1yr of Acute Care experience preferred
