Dayton Children’s Center for Health Equity works to advance health equity solutions so all children can thrive. The Center works to achieve health equity through new approaches anchored in data, outcomes, and evaluation across the clinical to community continuum.
21st Century Community Learning Center Teachers are responsible for developing and implementing academic learning in reading and math, including science, technology, engineering, and math, using the program’s evidence-based instructional curriculum. This position integrates instructional efforts with the work of assistant teachers or co-teachers. This position is responsible for interactive, dynamic, and fun learning that reinforces the classroom day instruction, addressing gaps and building upon strengths. Prior assessments and benchmark tests provide the data which drives instruction for students and the class in aggregate.
Department Specific Job Details:
Location: Kiser Elementary School
Days & Hours: M-F, 1:30pm-5:30pm
Closures: the program follows all DPS closures for PD, Holidays and inclement weather. These days are unpaid.
Total Commitment: Hire date through May 3rd
Pay: $25/hr.

GED (Required), High School (Required)
