Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an instructional designer. This person should specialize in Salesforce training should possess a strong background and experience in working with Salesforce and Trailhead. Proficiency in Salesforce involves understanding the platform's core functionalities, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, as well as familiarity with Salesforce customization, configuration, and automation capabilities. Experience in using Salesforce to streamline business processes, improve customer relationship management, and drive sales effectiveness is crucial. Additionally, a deep understanding of Trailhead, Salesforce's interactive learning platform, is essential. An instructional designer should be adept at navigating Trailhead modules, trails, and projects to leverage its resources effectively in designing engaging and effective training programs. Practical experience in completing Trailhead modules, earning badges, and staying updated on new Salesforce features and releases through Trailhead is valuable for creating impactful and up-to-date training content

$30/hr to $35/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

1. Needs Assessment: Conduct a thorough analysis of the organization's training requirements, including understanding the specific needs of users interacting with Sales and Service Cloud.

2. Curriculum Development: Design a structured curriculum that covers all essential topics related to Sales and Service Cloud functionalities, tailored to the organization's processes and goals.

3. Content Creation: Develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, guides, quizzes, and simulations, to facilitate learning and retention of information.

4. Storyboarding: Create a storyboard outlining the flow of the training program, including the sequence of topics, activities, assessments, and learning objectives.

5. Instructional Design: Apply sound instructional design principles to create learning experiences that are effective, engaging, and cater to different learning styles.

6. Assessment Design: Develop assessments and quizzes to evaluate learners' understanding of the material and track their progress throughout the training program.

7. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from current Salesforce users and stakeholders to continuously improve the training content and delivery methods.

8. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts on Salesforce and Trailhead to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the training content to the organization's specific Salesforce setup.

9. Training Delivery Support: Provide support to trainers in delivering the training sessions, including guidance on best practices, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring consistency in content delivery.
