Machine Operator

Job Description

1st Shift: 6am - 2:45pm Monday - Friday

• Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks.

• Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane.

• Setup, operate, and tend machines such as Okuma and other specified machinery to process components.

• Install machine fixtures to assure safe operation of the machine.

• Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe manner.

• Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.

• Work in other areas or departments as assigned.

• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM

• No prior machine operating experience required. Candidates should come from a manufacturing environment, be able to perform basic math, and maintain reliable attendance. No-fault attendance policy.*

Work Environment

Non-temperature controlled environment. Fans provided for winter and heat for summer. Candidates should be willing to work in a dirty environment. Steel-toe boots required
