We are looking for a full-time Unit Coordinator to join our team.

Hours/Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide secretarial assistance on the assigned unit

  • Comply with internal policies and procedures and applicable external regulatory requirements

  • Coordinate work within the unit as well as with other units and departments

  • Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and respond to inquiries and requests from patients, other hospital personnel, etc.

  • Perform secretarial, clinical, and support services such as preparing correspondence in final form, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, maintaining files and conducting special projects as assigned

  • Independent judgment, confidentiality and attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2 years prior experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

  • Proficient reading, writing grammar, and mathematic skills

  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills

  • Proficient typing skills

  • Proficient computer skills
