Butterfly Effects Human Resources Manager in Deerfield Beach, United States

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Manager plays a crucial role in managing human capital effectively to achieve organizational goals. They will serve as a partner to business leaders and managers, providing expertise, guidance, and support in all areas of human resources management. This includes working hands on with multiple systems and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations in multiple markets across the country.

This position is based out of the corporate office in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

What would you be doing?

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

  • Ensure that HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook are maintained and updated.

  • Work with multiple systems to prepare and present HR reports and dashboards to business leaders, providing actionable insights for decision-making.

  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for management review.

  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.

  • Manage HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Foster a positive working environment by developing and promoting employee engagement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and advise management on compliance issues.

    What do you bring to the role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

  • Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a multi-state corporate environment.

  • Experience working with legal counsel as necessary to address legal matters related to HR. California experience a plus

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws/regulations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant HR technology platforms.
