Aerotek is hiring a Shipper for our client located in Delta, BC

This is a full-time, long-term position with benefits

WAGE

• $19/hr

SHIFT

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking to hire a shipper in a manufacturing facility.

JOB DUTIES

• This role requires walking all shift long and standing, bending and reaching

• Printing name plates, shipping, dealing with truck drivers, loading and unloading trucks

• Inputting weight and dimensions of orders

• May be required to cover Preassemble Output. When assembly line is loaded, you will facilitate production (Only when production is having difficulty meeting rush order demands)

• Checking computer data inventory (When the stock shelf is empty)

• Picking parts for customer walk-in orders, retrieving parts for “rush customer orders” and picking orders by hand from shelves for the assembly team

• Helps to Receive Parts from Container

• Assists warehouse staff to rearrange shelves, unpacks skids, and moves items to shelves

• May be required to move heavy parts using a forklift

• Will be trained on how to operate an overhead crane

• This individual will be working with someone until they're trained

MUST HAVE

• Ability to lift 30lbs

• Read and write in English

• Attention to detail

• Computer usage

• Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift experience
