Mercer Wise 401(k)SM Operations Analyst

What can you expect? Responsibility for completing daily, monthly, and ad hoc processes in support of overall team Collaborate with internal stakeholders including but not limited to, Client Service, Legal and Compliance, IT, and management on annual testing, audit, and other annual legal filings Answer inquiries from clients on the status of participant and plan activity Work with Mercer approved vendors on a regular basis There will be a strong emphasis with on the job training

We will count on you to:

Manage daily client inquires including ensuring payrolls are processed and funded timely Provide operational support and efficiencies to client implementations and client service as needed, including adhering to procedures Review opportunities to improve and make more efficient as possible Research and resolve inquires and issues within the designated Mercer standards Assist clients reviewing communications and legal notices Work with the clients in the administration of the plans annual testing and reporting, including the form 5500 Some MS Office products will be used on a regular basis, including Excel, Word and Power Point

What you need to have: A minimum of two years of experience in 401(k) administration and a Bachelor degree in business, accounting or finance OR A minimum of five years of experience in 401(k) administration in operations or call center Good communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel

What makes you stand out? Previous experience with 401(k) record keeping of at least five years Familiarity with Defined Contribution Plans, including annual testing and reporting Strong organizational skills, clear and effective communication, both written and oral; ability to multi-task

The applicable base salary range for this role is $54,000 to $108,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
