Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The role bears the responsibility of demonstrating that the power plant design satisfies its goals and specifications. This includes not only the field of nuclear engineering but also the wider spectrum of technical tasks required to complete a significant infrastructure project. The team's duties include formulating the verification strategy for the power plant and carrying out any testing-related verification operations, which can range from simple laboratory tests to extremely complicated system-level rig tests at some of the top facilities in the world. A Test Lead has the chance to take the lead on a component of our strategy for testing facilities. The position will initially be centred on building a facility for our Control Room Demonstrator, but it will also gather, organise, and oversee requests from various parties for future development facilities and oversee their implementation.• Using inputs from Engineering, Verification, Property, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, Finance, etc., they will create and manage needs.• They will own and integrate the strategy to guarantee delivery on time, under budget, and with high quality.• They will assemble and manage a multidisciplinary project group.• They will make sure that lessons learned and dangers are handled consistently.• They will serve as the key intelligent client throughout this partnership and collaborate with the supply chain team to build and manage relationships with outside partners for the test's execution.• at the whole test lifecycle, they will spearhead delivery and exhibit maturity at governance reviews.• They will push for ongoing development inside their group.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • • Expertise and background in creating new facilities or making renovations to existing ones in a regulated sector.• Equivalent to a degree in the relevant field of study.• Have professional recognition from the relevant entity or be working towards it. • Strong project management abilities, including the capacity to create and keep up a solid strategy and handle opportunities, risks, and costs. • Proven track record of creating and managing productive cross-functional teams.• Experience with materials engineering, particularly in the nuclear field, is preferred. • The capacity to acquire difficult material, comprehend it, and convey it in a suitable and captivating manner. This includes formal communications to audiences both inside and outside of your field of expertise as well as to the proper stakeholders.• A proactive, positive mindset, as well as the drive and aptitude to pick things up quickly, question the current quo, and change things. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to simplify complex technical issues and assemble an interdisciplinary team to address problems.Safety & Health• Encourage, support, and participate in corporate culture initiatives to establish a positive and leading culture. • Report any inadequacies in the plans. • Carry out tasks and obligations in compliance with training and instructions, considering their own health and safety as well as the health and safety of others they may touch by their actions or inactions.
