Bilingual Cashier Job Description

Schedule: Summer 9am -- 6:30pm/Winter 9am -- 5:30pm

3 days during the week (flexible) with Saturday and Sunday mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 Hourly

Overview:

We seek a friendly and reliable bilingual Spanish cashier to join our team at our facility on Detroit's east side. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable working in a bark box, speak Spanish, have basic computer skills, knowledge of basic car parts, and the ability to perform shop math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling
• Must be able to work in a scrap yard environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while providing relief and/or back up duties for office assistant and weigh master

• Strong customer service skills
• Fluent in Spanish is a MUST
• Basic computer skills
• Shop math skills
• High school diploma or GED
