Research Assistant- Chemistry

Essential functions (job duties):

Isolate soyasaponins from natural sources for studying their adjuvant activity.

Isolate the two core triterpenoid compounds from natural sources.

Study the coupling of the core triterpenoid compounds with a variety of sugar molecules for studying their adjuvant activity.

Develop the new strategy for enzymatic synthesis of the two core triterpenoid compounds from natural sources.

Mentor undergraduate and graduate students at Wayne State University.

Participate in postdoctoral workshop here at Wayne State University.

Involve group responsibilities.

Involve in writing manuscripts and grant proposals.
