ABOUT THE ROLE

As the HR Business Partner, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on HR expertise to shape and execute HR initiatives that align with business goals for our client’s corporate, manufacturing, and distribution teams. You'll drive HR strategies to foster a high-performance culture and ensure the business is positioned for continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute people-related strategies that align with business objectives, supporting long-term planning and growth.

  • Be a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance with a keen understanding of business needs and strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Take ownership of employee relations, policy development, risk mitigation, and compliance to ensure best practices.

  • Evaluate organizational performance and talent gaps, proposing HR solutions that drive continuous improvement.

  • Lead talent management efforts, including staffing, onboarding, performance management, career development, and retention, using workforce analytics to inform decisions.

  • Support organizational design initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and adapt to shifting business demands.

  • Coach leaders on navigating complex HR issues such as conflict resolution, performance management, and employee rewards.

  • Partner with HR specialists in compensation, recruiting, and operations to deliver top-notch solutions for employees and leadership.

  • Foster a culture of feedback, communication, and alignment with company values, ensuring employee voices are heard and needs are met.

  • Roll up your sleeves to create policies, structures, and solutions that support the business’s evolving needs.

  • Advocate for employees, ensuring leadership considers their perspectives and creates an inclusive workplace.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

  • 7-10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in corporate functions.

  • Experience in retail or startup environments is a plus.

  • Deep expertise in HR areas such as organizational design, talent management, compensation, and total rewards.

  • Strong consulting and problem-solving skills, with a passion for driving business results.

  • Knowledge of change management practices and employment law.

  • A proactive, innovative thinker who challenges the status quo and influences change.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships and collaborate across all levels.

  • Proven project management skills, with a knack for delivering on time and exceeding expectations.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and balance strategic and operational responsibilities.
