Job Description

As a Web Content Manager – Tour of Duty Associate, you'll work with the data team, editorial team, project manager, SEO team and more to achieve goals, drive traffic and measure success. Tour of Duty Associates are expected to shadow all members of the Publishing House Team and will have the ability to work on additional projects within the team, including participating in personal development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team with content strategy that drives high engagement

  • Create content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers. Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site

  • Monitor marketing performance metrics, and make improvements accordingly

  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed

  • Collaborate with product and sales managers to create promotional concepts

  • Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs and white papers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a recently transitioned military veteran, military spouse, or actively serving National Guard or Reservist

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Preferred skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing

  • Demonstrated ability to lead content marketing campaigns

  • Strong Google Analytics and WordPress skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
