Niagara Bottling LLC Quality Assurance Analyst II (Lab records/data management) in Diamond Bar, California

Quality Assurance Analyst II (Lab records/data management)

The Corporate Quality Assurance – Analyst II is a dedicated corporate laboratory team member responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and reviewing laboratory data and reports for compliance with Niagara Bottling’s testing programs. These programs include, but is not limited to, regulatory testing, routine monitoring, customer investigations, and other similar testing programs that are outsourced to a Third-Party laboratory. The Analyst II is also responsible for responding to corporate and plant testing requests, questions and/or concerns regarding the status of samples submitted for testing. The Analyst II must have knowledge of the testing requirements and be able to communicate effectively. This position interacts and collaborates across all levels of the organization internally (i.e. Manufacturing Plants, Corporate Department, etc.), as well as Third-Party external laboratories (i.e. Eurofins, Compliance Designs, Armstrong, etc.).

  • Works with the Corporate QA team, Plant QA teams and Corporate Departments to ensure that all testing requirements are maintained.

  • Interacts with the Niagara LimsAdmin team to collect testing information and provides data summaries and/or trend charts to management, when necessary.

  • Provides timely and accurate response for testing questions, communicates testing status and preliminary results through phone calls, emails, and other similar fashion.

  • Works with Plant QA Teams to provide technical support (related to sampling and testing) when requested.

  • Ensures required testing is submitted to the correct laboratories and data is reported in a timely manner. Follows up with laboratories and manufacturing plants, as needed for sampling and results/reports.

  • Ensures that plants and corporate teams are informed of any updates such as shipping issues, resampling requirements, quality control issues with tests/methods, etc.

  • Ensure that Niagara databases (LIMS) are maintained with current and accurate information. Ensures that samples are accurately logged into to Laboratory portals, as needed.

  • Interacts with manufacturing plants, external laboratories, Corporate teams when sampling or testing information is incorrect or missing, and corrects issue. Escalates, when necessary.

  • Directs communication between laboratories and Niagara teams, ensuring that communication on testing requirements is concise and consistent.

  • Redirects any non-quality related questions and/or testing to the appropriate person in Niagara Bottling.

  • Escalates quality testing related issues to the appropriate point of contact.

  • Ensure that plants receive all required regulatory reports and related documents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 Years – Experience in Laboratory testing

  • 2 Years – Experience in Project Management with focus on Laboratory testing

  • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects

    *experience may include a combination of work experience and education

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 Years – Experience in Laboratory testing

  • 4 Years – Experience in Project Management with focus on Laboratory testing

  • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects

Education

  • Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or other science related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or other science related field.

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$77,796.00 - $112,805.00 / Yearly
