Job Description Summary

The Project Manager, Project Management is responsible for leading project teams and managing cross-functional activities for a portfolio of products developed at the Mumbai R&D Center and various Par sites. Based out of Mumbai this Project Manager will be responsible for working with R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure end to end management of R&D projects and handoff to the site.

The project manager tracks and reports progress, identifies risks, and escalates concerns and challenges to the broader project team for resolution. Travels to 3rd party manufacturing sites as needed to build the partner relationship and conduct onsite meetings to resolve challenges.

Builds effective client and team relationships. Competence is demonstrated by managing the project plan, the assigned resources, reviewing financial forecasts and the project activities. This individual will serve as key contact person for partnered project-related issues and is accountable for successful delivery of the project.

Job Description

  • Track and report development project progress, identifies risks, and provides actively participate in resolving project difficulties to meet project timelines.

  • Preparing and updating the project trackers

  • Ensure that key development milestones are achieved and the project is progressed in a timely manner for successful on time product filing

  • Work closely with portfolio team to map R&D capacity and help in capacity mapping

  • Track availability of API, RM , PM, tooling, change parts on time for development and filing of dossiers

  • Build effective relationship with all internal and external stakeholders / cross functional team

  • Serve as key contact person between internal and global stakeholders

  • Conduct team meetings/teleconferences provide agendas, issue minutes with follow-up actions identified.

  • Interface with a cross-functional team including R&D, Tech Services, Quality Operations, Production, SCM, Regulatory affairs and Business Development.

Education & Experience

  • M. Pharm / B. Pharm (PMP certification)

  • Prior injectable technical R&D development experience

  • 5+ years of Pharmaceutical project management experience

Knowledge

  • Familiarity with generic pharmaceutical product development and regulatory process

  • Well versed in MS office and MS Project
