Job Overview:

Senior Process Designer with hands on experience in AVEVA P&IDs, SPP&IDs and other drafting tools such as MicroStation and AutoCAD. Experience in AVEVA diagrams is also beneficial. Candidates who have both user and administrator experience for smart P&IDs will be prioritized.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain detailed knowledge and skills for the relevant 2D software applications

• Utilize 2D software for the production of Process Engineering deliverables (Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, etc.)

• Ensure that the Process Engineering deliverables are prepared according to the drafting guidelines, job notes and project specifications/requirements, (P&ID) design instructions

• Facilitate data entry into database application like SPPID and AVEVA

• Back check own drawing before releasing it for back check by the assigned person

• Review the quality of the database of own drawing before releasing it for back check by the assigned person

• Ensure effective management of change

• Communicate what is missing or what is unclear with process lead or P&ID coordinator and resolve the issues

• Diligently report the status of own drafting work

• Show flexibility and Ensure proper hand-over with regards to:

• The replacement of colleagues during illness and holidays.

• The provision of assistance to other colleagues with heavy workload (also other projects)

• The managing/learning of current/future working methods and new software applications

• Able to work independently

• Basic working knowledge of English, both oral and writtenUnderstands relevant drawing specifications

• Responsible for application of Environmental Policy and Procedures within his area of responsibility

• Show flexibility and ensure proper hand-over with regards to:

• Adequate knowledge of relevant IT systems

• The replacement of colleagues during illness and holidays

• The provision of assistance to other colleagues with heavy workload (also other projects) when possible/desirable

• The managing/learning of current future working methods and software applications

• Able to work independently

• Basic working knowledge of English, both oral and written

• Continue developing skills to complete repetitive tasks efficiently

• Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines set by others

• Continue developing communication skills

• Detailed knowledge of advanced features like reporting and assembly generation skills would be an advantage

• Supports development of Associate Process Designers and Process Designers

• Eligible to perform as Process Drafting Supervisor on assigned projects

• As Process Drafting Supervisor assumes responsibility for quantities, quality, schedules and man-hour budgets

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• at least 10 years hands on experience minimum with major contractor or consultant of which 2+ years of experience in oil and gas

• High School graduate with a diploma in Process, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Design, or Drafting in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Minimal required English knowledge: B2

• Detailed knowledge of 2D (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation) drafting systems and other drafting software like: SPPID and AVEVA.

• AutoCAD training completed.

• MicroStation training completed.

• Smart Plant PID training completed.

• AVEVA PID training completed
